I love this place, their lunch menu is amazing value - for about $11-13 for the rice/noodle dishes, you get miso soup, the main course, and a little fresh fruit as dessert. Bento lunch boxes are a little more, but you get more variety and everything is yum!

Approximate cost: $11

I went with 3 other people we ordered some entrees to share. I liked the pork dumplings, the seafood and vegetable pancake was a bit dense and the chicken skewers were very soft. For mains my friends had the sushi boat which they enjoyed. I ordered a beef with noodles. The beef was soft and nice but the dish itself was nothing special. I felt like I could have cooked the meal myself at home. We ordered desserts and they brought the dessert out and left all our plates from our mains on the table. The waitress also never gave us a drink menu or offer tea or coffee with dessert. I had the banana fritter with ice cream it was nice but needed a bit more maple syrup as it wasn't sweet enough for a dessert as it was.

I've been here twice since it opened and find that you get the best value for money with the set menu options, which also gives you a good variety from their extensive menu. The set menus vary in price, averaging around the $30 - $60 dollar mark, depending which one you choose.

The food itself is quite enjoyable and above the usual standard of other eateries on Keilor Rd. The staff are attentive and helpful in explaining the menu and are quick to clear the table and offer more tea and beverages.

The restaurant itself is small and can get loud when busy. The kitchen is also partly visible from the hall you go down to get to the toilets, and I'm happy to say it looks clean and organised.

Booking would't go astray on Friday/Saturday nights as they can get quite full very quickly.
