High tea worth booking into - unlike most high teas this one is all you can eat from a delicious buffet. Expensive but worth it.

The Hyatt is "the" place for a celebratory drink; the 1930s decor adds a touch of elegance, the service is prompt and professional, and the people-watching is excellent too.

I would also recommend the buffet-style breakfasts, famous for the omelette chef who will whip up a delicious dish while you wait.

I had Christmas lunch at the Hyatt this year (again). The staff provided exceptional service. The food was a buffet and there was a lovely selection of fresh seafood, hot meats, salads, vegetables and the desserts were the best. We had a great time and will be going back again.

We continue to visit this beautiful hotel for a range of social and work events. The decor is a little dated but the location and old-club style is perfect for a relaxing occassion. The High Tea buffet is worth the outlay and the Settlers Bar area is great for a summer's cocktail. We especially enjoyed the Christmas eve dinner with seafood buffet.

High tea here is lovely - it's buffet (an essential criteria for high tea to be great) with a large selection of sweet and savoury dishes. The dining area is very pretty and luxurious (there are also outside tables available) and it's quite lively there on a weekend when they're full. The staff are friendly and attentive. There's a nice mix of sandwiches, hot finger food, scones and pastries and cakes. One of the best high teas I've been to!

i love going to hotels resturants in sydney so i tried the hyatt hotel canberra to the buffet dinner there were great variety of salads hot dishes etc great buffet well worth the visit

Buffet meal in the cafe was good value. Always lovely to walk into; has very good overall rating!
