I don't like to give a place a bad rating but I have to admit, I didn't like Il Baretto. I have a friend who likes it and we went there once for lunch and I thought the food was horrible and when we went back there a few days later (reluctantly) for a coffee I thought the coffee was okay but that was overpowered by the fact that the waitress was a pretentious snob. I think living in the eastern suburbs there are plenty of places that make nice coffee. I try to make a point though of avoiding places that look down at me because I haven't got my best clothes on though or they just don't like my look.

The worlds best duck ragu pappardelle! But everything here is good... leave room for the panna cotta! You can't book but they give you a number and send you to the pub across the road, very nice staff there tell you when your table is ready. Not great for kid but excellent for adults.
