Independent Carpets (D C Floorcoverings)

We purchased a houseful of Hycraft wool carpet late last year. From the beginning, the carpet had a foul smell, something similar to stale horse urine. It permeated our new house. The company sprayed the carpet with disifectant and beat it with industrial vacuum cleaners. For a while it seemed under control, but with the warm weather it is back. We have been o/s this last month and the clothes in our bag, when opened, had the foul smell of the carpet in them. Please do not buy this carpet as we now still have to battle to rid or house of the foul carpet and the inconvenience of moving furniture.

Able to offer a wide selection of all kinds of flooring. Great range and prices. Look at your current life situation and make recommendations from that. We now have a wonderful chocolate loop pile carpet that is hard wearing, and doesn't show the spills and stains. (Helpful with 2 small boys!)
