At first I was really excited to try an herbal hairdresser for the first time, and the products used were great. Though I ended up with a terrible haircut, I explained what I wanted but kept disagreeing with me. This could have been a keeper only they had actually listened.

Not sure what all the hype is about? The stylist seems to be far more skilled at cutting than colouring. The salon stock good herbal products that are great for people looking for an alternative to harsh chemicals, which is their biggest draw card and the reason I opted to try the salon. There are very few salons in Sydney which offer such a gentle and "hair and scalp sparing" product. But the colouring skills are simply not up to scratch. The highlights I had were uneven, in some areas there was just "block" colour and the highlights were so far from my scalp, that I looked like I already had 4 weeks regrowth! The colour was also left on too long and was different to what we discussed, because the salon had other clients in the salon at the same time with no other help. The colour was so disappointing that I had to go to another salon for colour correction - all in all it was an expensive and disappointing experience....

I have only visited Lesley once purely on the reviews on this web site as I have just moved to the area and needed a hairdresser. I was impressed with the service and knowledge and love my new cut and colour. I feel very lucky to have "stumbled" on to ING and will definitely continue to come here. I love the organic products too and nearing 50 I was starting to get concerned about thinning hair and too many colouring treatments over the years. I have noted a marked improvement in only one week.

I have been here a few times, and Lesley is becoming my regular hairdresser. Sometimes I have to wait a little, but I don't mind, since the other customers are all so friendly and we all have a chat. The cut itself is great and I love the all natural colours.

I found the herbal ammonia free,sulfate-free and non-toxic products used by Lesley to be far gentler on my hair than traditional dyes, improving its overall condition. Unlike many other hair salons where you feel as though you are treated like cattle, Lesley offers her clients her undivided attention when having your hair done which I find highly professional and satisfying as a customer. I have also found her to be a great cutter. Although I am no longer pregnant, I have continued to visit ING to have my hair coloured as Lesleys products are superior and her experience as a hairdresser invaluable

Lesley is fantastic and has been my hairdresser for about four years. The thing I love most is that not only does your hair feel fabulous after leaving the salon, but she manages to create styles that sit really nicely afterwards and require minimal maintenance.

iNG Herbal Hair is my newest, bestest choice for hair in the Inner West. I was tired of the attitude at my last salon in Newtown. I went to iNG on a friend's recommendation. The owner Lesley uses herbal dyes and products that smell fresh and wholesome and don't leave you feeling dizzy as you leave the salon. Her simple, personal approach to style & service won't empty your wallet as quickly as other hairdressers either. I walked out feeling happy, confident and natural.
