Be very careful here. Inspire Constructions are very well known within the industry amongst many trades for not paying and an un-organised approach to their builds.
He swaps trade regularly because they stop work when he does not pay.

We engaged Inspire to construct our house at Glen Osmond,
the site was extremely tricky due to the nature of the land, Inspire completed our house to a very high standard, there communication throughout the process was superior to that of the previous builder we used to build our first home.

Do not build with Inspire.
This company is unable to deliver the promised product. Came in significantly late with poor workmanship, repairs to finish the place off at our expense were huge. If you are building with them, don't give final payment until they have fixed all of the construction defects - hold back a significant amount because if it is anything like our place, you won't get them back and you will need every cent and then some to fix your property. Also ask a few tradies round town what they think - then make your own mind up. When you phone consumer affairs hotline and they know the builder by name - not a good sign!

Interestingly not the first review about this builder that reads like this. It's a shame, our first experience building and still 18 months down the track we would never consider doing it again.

We purchased a site on the marina at North Haven over 3 years ago it took us over a year to select a builder as we examined every aspect of each building company and luckily enough we choose Inspire to build our dream home. During construction there were area's of the build we flagged as concerning but these issues were remedied immediately which made us feel very comfortable. It was a complex build
and Inspire executed the build perfectly, like most reviews I recommend Inspire.

I have also had a home built by inspire constructions and I strongly advise anyone before building with inspire do some research by asking tradespeople and other people within building industry so you can gain a better understanding of what to expect.
Inspire recently finished our house at Valley View, we will
definitely recommend them to our friends and family and if
we are to build again we will use Inspire again.

Inspire finished our home in Campbelltown in May this year,
i can only describe this experience as wonderful. The staff where
more than accomodating throughout the entire build we got weekly updates as to what was planned for the upcoming week the level of communication was fantastic. The most important thing for me was how the build turned out in terms of overall quality, we have built many times with other builders
and Inspire's quality is by fare the best we have had.
To add to the overall experience all defects were completed
within there defect period of 3 months again another tick to the company.

Unlike the experience of the other 4 written reviews our investment property build project with Inspire Constructions started well enough but sadly ended very poorly.
Build began early 2013, handover at the end of November 2013 and 8 months down the track still a number of outstanding handover and post handover issues remain unresolved. To make the property available to tenants in early January 2014 we had to spend an additional $1,000 finishing build tasks that were not complete at handover or dealt with in the agreed post handover time frame.
Since late November 2013 there would have been in excess of 25 written communications to Inspire requesting completion of outstanding work and rectification of faults / components not delivered at handover. Have sought to resolve them on numerous occasions in writing so as to avoid confusion or misunderstanding but no response received. We also found the consumer affairs path and seeking resolution through the claims court a complex process that has delivered no outcomes.
Sadly it will make us think twice about building again and who we would choose as the builder. The dealings with the builder and the non delivery on commitments made what should have been an exciting project a rather forgettable experience in the end.

I totally agree with you as I had exactly the same experience myself. It was only after a consumer affairs compulsory conference that Inspire finally started to correct some of the issues; this was approximately 6 months after handover. Nearly a year later, I am still finding issues and will probably end up having to take them to court.

We would just like to comment on the great job they did in building our home. They were very helpful, conscious of their work product and made the building process a good experience. Their willingness to support us really helped as this was the first time we had built. We are quite proud of the result and believe it was great value for money. If we were to build again we would definitely use them again.

We had looked at other mainstream builders but they weren't very flexible with the difficult site that we had. They were able to come up with something that we are really happy with and still met our budget. They always made time to meet us to go over questions we had and everyone who comes to visit is really impressed. Very happy with the outcome.

I wish we had the same experience. I will never build a house again because of inspire constructions! Bad customer service, Having to go to consumer affairs to get issues fixed. Still waiting on them to finish my house!
Start to finish we were very pleased with process and product. Like anything we were very cautious and read reviews. We really could see how people could have had a negative experience, but I guess it really is a case like any project a lot comes down to how you approach it. They were very understanding and great to deal with. Recommend!
