We ordered the prawn & veg tempura and squid to start followed by the Irori platter. The starters were pretty average, the batter for both was flat and chewy not light & crispy as tempura should be. The standout was the platter, great selection, beautifully fresh.

Fantastic food and fantastic staff- thats what it comes down to at Irori. The restaurant is always busy with tables that take two people to the larger ones of about ten. Every meal here is consistently great and the takeaway Bento boxes are a great meal if you don't feel like eating out. Its easy to call up and order over the phone, and they will even let you make small changes to the Bento box if requested. The gyoza and miso steak are the standouts on the menu and I always order both to go with my meal.

I've been here a couple of times and each time have enjoyed my experience and it's local to me & not too hard to find a park in the area. It is a very small restaurant with a few seats out the front with heaters in winter. My favourite thing to order here is the golden rolls which are delicious and worth ordering. Being a small place it's best to make a booking as earliest as possible.
