Great restaurant with a good all you can eat menu, although wish there was a greater variety but meals come quick from when ordered

An all-you-can-eat Japanese buffet (around $43 pp). Great variety of fresh fish made upon request. The sashimi didn't have a fishy smell and tasted great.

All you can eat Japanese with selections of fresh seafood options in the form of sashimi or sushi. Everything is made to order & the quality is 5 star. Décor is a little dated/shabby but food is fantastic & so it the friendly service!

We decided to try this place considering it was nearby and offered all you can eat. It was a weeknight and not too busy. The waitress seated us, offered the menu and explained the buffet. We went for this option at $37.50 per head and ordered some drinks as well. The beverage list is decent, offering variety of Sake and traditional Japanese items. We commenced with the entrees. The quality wasn't too bad but nothing exceptional. They came out promptly. The entree highlight was the tempura. After that we ordered some mains. These took exceptionally long to come out, and when they arrived the waitress had ordered the wrong items. After finishing these we ordered some dessert. Again the wrong items came out, I had to reorder for the items I wanted. Nothing special about the chocolate mousse but must note that the Daifuku is not the traditional one you expect. It instead, is a flattened rice cake fried with red bean. While it's not the traditional item, it tastes very good and should be ordered with the icecream. Overall experience is ok, probably wouldn't go again. Its ok value for money and nothing spectacular for food, I suppose the only reason to go is just that its 'all you can eat'. Considering they wouldn't want wastage it would be good for the waitress to place the correct orders.
