Peter Anton, the owner, was the best and most honest and service minded small business person I've dealt with. Full marks on all counts. I would fully recommend Peter to anyone.

I can't recommend Anton Motors enough. Peter was the most thorough and professional mechanic I've ever dealt with. I felt truly looked after. He sourced parts for my car 2nd hand to minimise costs. He was extremely thorough and efficient. He explained what was wrong with it and detailed everything needing to be fixed..Being a woman and not knowing much about cars I appreciated his patient approach. He fixed my car like new. I will definitely be going to him next time I should need a mechanic. He is completely trustworthy and reliable.

Had called asking to book in service, Peter asked a bit about the car and said bring it down for a quick check before booking as it was making a noise too. Long story short, it prevented a major catastrophe if I’d kept driving. Still resulted in significant repairs but it was caught quickly as Peter made space for an immediate assessment. He communicated clearly with me and made me feel very confident, not to mention I learned a few things too!

I had a not so good experience, I had an old car, apparently needed a new head, was quoted about $1800, so trusted it to them, later on enquiring, they told me it would cost a bit more and went to great lengths to show me the shiny parts they were adding to the motor, I was a single part-time working mother of Teenage boys, who were learning to drive in the car, I said I just wanted a cheap job, cheap parts because the car would probably be smashed by learners and I couldn't afford much. I was charged $2300 for this so called wonderful everlasting motor. As this mechanic was close by and seemed ok for buying tyres, I would go there for tyres, one day they suggested I leave the car there for the tyres to be rotated. When I came back to pick up car, they said they had looked under the bonnet and the motor was in a very bad way, there was coolant in the oil and lifted the bonnet, undid oil cap and ran their finger under the lip of the oil inlet, came up with BRIGHT GREEN ENGINE COOLANT drop from finger, now even I know that water in the oil is grey and sludgy.

I would highly recommend Peter and the staff at Anton Motors. He is one of the best motor mechanics that I have dealt with and is very trustworthy. He is very committed and passionate to his business and to his customers. He is always courteous and does a very thorough, professional job. He offers good advice and is very honest and I have no hesitation in recommending him to look after your vehicle
