This is a great bar that's quite dark inside with a pub atmosphere and sometimes live music. The upstairs section can be a bit more intimate with couch seats etc, and they also have outdoor seating which is nice, particularly in the daytime.

I really enjoy going to Jack Greene for a casual drink or two, and they have a good range to choose from. They also serve really good chips, but I've had a few of their burgers and would only rate them as average (considering they are not cheap).

Dark yet cosy semi ruggard bar with live music & that great pub feel. Known for their burgers though I wouldn't recommend them. Not that they weren't good, I just know a good burger all too well. Still great for a visit!

The food itself was GREAT! Have to start by saying how yum everything was. Been 3 times. It is a popular place and the wait time was pretty bad. We've always gone on a weekend at different times but it's always busy and I think the worst wait we had was 50 minutes :(
The manager is a really nice guy and each time we go we try a different cider. The manager always offers us to try before we buya nd pours us a little in a glass. I really like this, and this alone made us smile and feel welcomed and cared for. Also must say, all their cider is YUM!
I always get the lamb burger which is juuuuust yummm. My partner got the salt and pepper calamari which wasn't cooked enough, the chips are fat and crunchy and light, the popcorn chicken sounds yum and i wanted it to be but it was too crunchy and not enough chicken. The vibe is nice though and the seating and whole place is very rustic and comfortable. Indoor and outdoor settings and a nice place to have lunch

Approximate cost: $25

I have had a few mixed experiences at Jack Greene over the past few months. Most of the time everything is fine, the service is great, atmosphere is lovely and the food is outstanding, however every now and again, for no apparent reason the food will be slow, cold and undercooked! Thankfully this does not happen often but it has happened to me twice and to an acquaintance of mine once. When it's good, however, it is very very good, my favorite meal being the blue cheese beef burger coupled with a large bohemian pilsner. There's nothing better than a big burger and a big beer after a hard week's work! They also have a great range of sauces, but I feel that paying $20-$30 for a main course should entitle the customer to at least one free sauce to go along with their chips or onion rings (which are delectable by the way). I will definitely continue to frequent Jack Greene, but only on pay days!

Approximate cost: $18-$25

Just popped in for a coffee after lunch..
Never been before and was charmed by the decor and the general 'buzz'. Outdoor and indoor tables are available.
If it's only coffee you want then I would not recommend them. The milk was perfect but very little experience of a roasted bean.
I'll be back to make a fairer assessment of their offerings.
There seemed to be many meals heading to eager patrons.
