Went there with my friend once as it came highly recommended. Portion was pretty big and price was reasonable. We order sambal kangkong and a big plate came out! very impressive. We had the yong tau foo too in curry if I remember correctly and it was delicious.

What was not impressive was that they cleared out plates away as soon as it was finished. We didnt really stay that long, about 45 mins and I found it a bit irritating that as soon as I took up the last piece of meat/vege the plate was cleared straight away. I know that they want quick turnover but please not to that extent!

I cant fault the food but service could be a bit better.

Having been to Malaysia 7 times I know that Jade Kingdom has some of the best cheap Malaysian food in Melbourne.
Friendly staff, laminex tables, great food, bustling atmosphere with many Malaysians eating there.

Approximate cost: $15

Came here from the reviews listed to try it out for myself, I didnt find it salty like some of the other comments, it was ok. My partners chicken was really dry I didnt enjoy it, I had the Hokkien Mee and it was fairly nice. Don't think i'd come here again as theres places I prefer

Dine in or take away. Inside it is very crowded and noisey, take away and expect to possibly get your phone order wrong. Trying to get from the front door to the counter an impossible task...but worth the effort. The food is tasty a menu with both Chinese and Malaysian dishes. I wouldn't say it's close to the best I've had but we have been here a lot of times. We tend to order from the Malay menu more often. If you want reasonably priced food with no frills then this is your restaurant.

Approximate cost: $18

Excellent food and great value for money. My favourite Malaysian/Chinese restaurant in Melbourne. My husband and I can't go past the banquets, they are particularly good value and include a very yummy selection of food. Staff always very attentive and obliging.

Food a bit salty for my taste. The hokkien mee was too salty for me and too saucy. My usual order is the ipoh hor fun here. There is always a piece of chicken curry when you order laksa from here. Can be a bit tough sometimes. Otherwise the char kway teow is decent and we keep coming back for takeaway.

Excellent food and service is always good. We always order the same thing and it is consistently wonderful. You must order the Baba Fish Curry, Homemade Bean Curd fried with an amazing mixture on top, chilli chicken and greens. It is so good I am thinking of going there tonight for dinner.

The food here is really tasty, they have a variety of Malaysian and Chinese food. Their pricing is cheap and I usually get takeaway from here as its quick and easy and it's really good food.
