I've never had a meal here but I love getting a little treat on occasion. Their caramel slice and mars bar slice are delicious but very rich and sweet so you can share a piece! Although a little expensive it's a nice treat.

These guys are awesome - Three days running I ordered my coffee from them, and on the fourth, the young lady taking my order knew what I wanted and how I like it. Coffees are 3.50 and 4.00, if you pick up a loyalty card every tenth is free. Order at the counter and they bring to your table. There is a whole world of choice in regards to cakes and slices, it would be a rare child that won't find something to eat (although all the food is in the one case, so I imagine gluten free probably isn't an option)

My husband and l spent the weekend in Hobert, we enjoyed the morning at Salamanca Market and then decided to go for a stroll to the main shopping area. On our way we stopped to have a coffee and a snack at Jamaician Mist, The food was amazing!!, l had the Pumkin and Spinich Lasagne and my husband had the Chicken and Avacardo Wrap. The staff were so friendly and the food so delicious, l highly recommend anyone visiting Tassie should give this place a go, you will not be disappointed. The piccolo coffee is to dye for! See you again next time we are in Tassie.

Approximate cost: $15.00

To clear up any confusion, I understand this cafe is not connected to the better known Jamaica Blue.
I wasn't able to find a phone number, or any website, but they do have a Facebook page, albeit with basically nothing on it.
Has a huge and impressive looking range of rolls, wraps, quiches, slices, sandwiches, cakes and sweet delights.
Have only had coffee and cake here once, and had a selection of the sweet and savoury choices at work recently.
The cake I bought was quite good, but unfortunately the various ones we had at work didn't quite measure up. Tasteless and just not as good as I've had elsewhere.
The savouries - pumpkin & spinach lasagne and quiche - were quite tasty. The egg & bacon pie was extremely salty, to the point where I couldn't eat it.
The coffee was reasonable, not excellent but not bad either.
Overall, I'd probably have coffee and something savoury here, if I was after a rare sweet treat, I'd probably go elsewhere.
