MUMS AND DADS BEWARE!!!!! I booked these people to do a show at my sons 5th birthday. Not something we would normally do but his grandpa is in poor health and wanted to do something nice for him in case he isn't around for the next birthday. I booked months in advance. I contacted them again via facebook weeks ago to confirm and I was assured that yes they were coming - I provided them with the CORRECT phone number (I've double checked the message). He was so excited. For weeks he has been telling his kinder friends that there was going to be a snake at his party. His grandpa flew in from Perth to be here. They were booked for 3pm. At 3.10pm I started to get concerned that they had gotten lost. So I called, only to be told that they had attempted to confirm again (why?? when I had already confirmed??) via phone. It appears they transcribed the number incorrectly and were trying to ring and text the wrong number. Instead of contacting me again via facebook, they decided not to bother. They weren't coming. When I asked why had not bothered to contact me through other means, the response was "yeah sorry, it's not really good enough" Understatement of the year. It makes me want to cry just thinking about it. :( Later I had a text from them offering us a half price party, followed by "please... this is how I feed my kid". I can only assume that was an attempt to stop me from writing a review. Not likely.

REALLY SAD! I was at a show recently and Jamie and Kim's mobile zoo were one of the 'highlights'...well I don't think so! I was extremely disappointed with there show. I was very concerned for their animals, they had a bearded dragon out in the open with nothing but a heat mat on the grass to keep it warm. And we are not in Queensland! The baby croc was stuck in an enclosure with frogs, and to help keep it from eating them, the croc had a rubber band around its mouth. I understand why they did it, but all day? A real bad look! The animals all looked healthy but the enclosures were all broken and cracked with only gaffa tape holding them together. If this is their business, they need to really think about how they look to the public and put the animals welfare first.
