jandals are apparently sandals or thongs in NZ, who'd have thought that? Agree with the other poster - this place looks pretty dull from the outside but they have a decent range of food and drinks to calm the masses... prices are average

This cafe doesn't look much from the outside, and after living locally and driving past it for years, we finally decided to check it out. We were very pleasantly surprised. The decor is lovely, the menu is basic, but the food was delicious. The prices were a little higher than we are used to paying at a cafe, but the service made it worth it. The staff were lovely, very polite and even went to the trouble to let us know there was a big couch inside where I was welcome to breastfeed my son if need be, and then to come around and ask if I needed any water while feeding my son. I really appreciated this, and we will return there because of the great service!
