My sister was looking for an Subaru and went to their store looking for a car. She found a second hand car that was done up (tint, wheels lowered etc..) from the dealer and loved it. She asked for the warranty details and was told 1 year Subaru Warranty + additional 3 years Jarvis warranty. She was told the car was 2.5 litre along with a bunch of other things. She asked me to come along and I questioned the 4 year warranty and was assured that the was the fact. I also questioned the 2.5 litre engine (that car never came with one) and found out it was only 2 litre engine. My sister was happy with that and she returned with me a few days later to purchase the car. After she had signed the purchase contract she was passed the warranty information and it was 1 year only. She said she was supposed to get four years and she was effectively called a liar which I then pointed out that I also heard that. They were dismissive of it and she was left with the shorter warranty. When she was outside checking over the car I was talking to the manager and was told "You people just want everything for free". We were also given four steel rim tyres for some reason. We left the shop with the new car but would soon return. The car was defected a few weeks later and we went back to the dealer and was told that the steel rims were supplied so we could remove the demo wheels when we left the store (seriously that was their reason). We couldn't do it anyway because they neglected to give the lock nut release tool. We took it to get the defect removed and was redefected for too loud exhaust. The dealer "loaned" us a replacement exhaust to get the defect removed. The car was defected yet again for an over tinted windows. The dealer refused to do any remedy to selling a car that had at least 3 defects at sale. After six months the car had to be disposed because the defect fees were mounting up. In the end my sister took a 10k hit when she traded it in on another car. So not a great experience with this dealer.

I recently took my Subaru here for a service, and couldn't be happier. The service itself was $40 cheaper than another authorized Subaru service centre I looked at. The service only took 4 hours, and when I picked my car up, I was greeted by the friendly staff, and given a full run down on what had been done, and what needed to be done in the future. They have a very comfortable lounge area to wait in, with a tv and complimentary drinks fridge. They had also detailed my car in and out, which I wasn't expecting. All in all, I would say a positive experience, with very professional service, yet competitive pricing.

Approximate cost: $274
