This is the warmest place to meet, greet and enjoy yourself at the base of the slopes
Staff welcoming and pleasant and drinks and food are actually very well priced.
If you catch a music arvo/night sit back and enjoy - life is too short not to!
If you're aware the steaks etc are DIY cooking then you'll love them - because you've no one but yourself to blame if they don't turn out as you want them!
Great value for money and a great view of the slopes

The 'cook your own' food's overpriced and forgettable, but Jax isn't about the food. Located at the bottom of Perisher's Front Valley, just beneath the V8, Jax is the perfect place to put your feet up, and escape the cold with a cold one.

The drinks (whether you want a schooner of Coke, or a schooner of beer) are surprisingly well priced, and the bar plays venue to some great live music, too. I nearly fell over when I ordered a glass of coke and a bottle of water from her a few weeks ago and was 'only' charge $7.50 (I keep remembering paying $6 for a single bottle of water at the Easter Show and was really pleasantly surprised).

The Bar staff were really friendly and efficient, and it's a welcome escape from the crowds outside, even when it's crowded itself.
