Jayco Caravanland

We ordered a Jayco Journey Caravan in May 2022 and were told it would take about 12 months from manufacture to arriving and as you can imagine when it arrived August this year the excitement was overwhelming.
We booked in for a date and time for the handover. Everything went well on the operation of the various items on the van until the person conducting the handover went inside first and said “This won’t take long there’s no hot water and you don’t even have a radio. This is the basic model.”
As you can image the excitement then felt like a punch in the back.
We then headed off to the toy shop and on the way I told the person that we had ordered the van last year. Guess what we were told .”I don’t know why you had to wait so long because you only have the Basic van.
How do you think we fell. Shattered.
