Went to this store to pick up a CD for our daughter and ended up buying a Volta vacuum Cleaner. Helpful staff, good price and apparently a timely purchase when looking at the dirt that was removed from our carpets. Our old cleaner completely died this morning. Good timing for our visit to this store

Searched the net for a price and specs for a new computer.
Phoned several places to find out if they had stock. Some didn't have time to look, some didn't answer the phone. Jb HiFi
took the call, checked and said they would price match. Went straight there. They were very busy, but spent quite some time explaining what was best for my circumstances and eventually saved me nearly $100 on what I thought I would have to pay. It is obvious why they were busy, the choice of product and service takes some beating. Will certainly be back for more helpful good service.

Helpful over the phone when I enquired re a product I was looking for. Value wise they were the cheapest so if its just price you are after, I would certainly recommend them HOWEVER when I went to the store and asked which counter to pick up the item I put on hold the girl just pointed as if I should have already known and then when I returned ready to pay for the item to the same girl and asked her a question re was there a remote in with the product - her response was I dont know! As she was just about to put the product in the bag I asked her if it mentioned on the box what was in there and without even a response she handed me the item with the box half hanging out the bag to look for myself! Certainly not the service I would expect from a business like this. Not to be completely disgruntled as I was walking out the door a nice guy who was I assume checking bags as people walked out ws very pleasant sying thanks for shopping with us and have a great day. Pleaseant manners and good service are not difficult- just try harder young lady.

Store is well set out and clear to understand with clear signage. Great music is always playing and makes the shopping experience fun. Always great customer service no matter what outlet.

I have never been a big fan of JB Hifi as I have constantly been ignored by the staff. However I was looking for a new TV for my parents so I thought I would give the new Melrose Park store a try as I haven't been there before. The moment I walked in the security guard at the front of the store welcomed me there. Good start. Next before I had a chance to look around for someone I was approached with a 'Hi, how are you today?' from Leigh Hogan.

Leigh's service was fantastic. He listened to what I wanted and made recommendations on what I was describing. A very pleasant change. He even very politely informed me that my long standing prejudice of cheaper TV's (thanks to Masuda, TEAC, etc...) could stand in the way of getting a good TV at a terrific price.

So I ended getting a TV that was a great price, had all of the features that I wanted for my parents, and who are very happy with the purchase. A lot of sales people would have just taken me to what they thought I was saying but Leigh, in asking the right questions and then listening, and I mean really listening, recognized my issue with the above cheap alternatives was blocking a smart buying decision.

Well done to Leigh and I would advise anyone looking for electrical equipment at least pop in and talk to Leigh.
