We had Jeffrey Hills trading as Bellara Holdings do a building & pest on a property we bought. They didnt pick up obvious termite damage in several places throughout the house. The inspector did not even check the garage door at all, which is completely unusable. Turns out the inspector doesnt have a licence and isnt qualified to do pest inspections but because he is working under Jeffrey Hills licence there is nothing we could do. We have spent alot of $$$ fixing termite damage, we asked them to cover the replacement garage door which they refused. So now my daughter & grandson are living in a house in which we cannot secure the garage door properly and cant afford to replace it. My advice is to steer clear of this company! Not happy at all.

Had a building and pest with this company and it was great. We got to speak to the inspector, Peter and found him to be very understanding and explained everything. Would use them again.

Booked in for a building and pest inspection with JHA as they were recommended from the real estate.
We have recently moved in (3 weeks ago)
We found out huge termite damage 2 days ago on the garage that was pointed as wood rot on the report.
The garage structure is unsafe and could collapse as we went through the roof cavity yesterday and termite have damaged the main beams and rafters and heaps more. you can see from outside the damage as well (crack in fibro and facia). When the inspector was here , we have been told that probably a 4wd heat the top of the garage and cause those damaged and again said that was also wood rot.
He also didn't even mentioned that the gate between the house and garage has been heavily damaged by termite (again pointed as wood rot). we actually saw that is how termites got up to the garage.
We had a termite company that came yesterday for a quote... we showed him the report and he was shocked about the lack of info and that he did not see all this major problem on the gate and garage.
We have another termite barrier company coming tomorrow, they will also perform a full inspection of the whole house and garage as we cannot trust the report.
We will then know more, we also have to get a quote from a builder to fix the all garage structure and that will not be cheap.
They will hear soon about me...

Had these guys do both a building and pest inspection and a structural engineering inspection after a recommendation from a friend. They did a thorough job, explained everything to me and took the time to show me any faults they found and explain what those faults could mean for my property in the future. Jeffrey himself carried out the structural engineer inspection and I will use them anytime I need a building and pest done in the future.

Pest and building inspection on a property i had a contract on was completed by paul parker - a contractor for JHA. He was absolutely thorough and cant recommend him high enough! so much so that im using him again
