Nice trendy cafe set in a bluestone cottage, which makes it warm and cosy inside in winter. We came here for breakfast in the afternoon and enjoyed our time here. The staff are quirky and fun, friendly and upbeat. There was music playing that was a little too loud for my boyfriend's liking but he likes it quiet when we eat. Food was good, we would have liked a bigger plate or an option for a big breakfast that was actually big, as we like to share a plate. But you only learn what size is good for you by trying. Definitely order a plate each if you eat here. Coffee was well made and should be for almost 4.00 each. Not sure if we will be back but good as an option for a weekend brekki.

This is my local cafe and thank goodness I chose to live in such a good street. I am spoiled for choice with arguably two of the best cafes in Brunswick right on my doorstep...This one wins every time for me.

The people here are young, energetic, engaging and just good fun! They do get very busy and sometimes there can be a wait but I can't think of a time when it wasn't worth it. The food is GREAT!! Simple, not fussy and decent portions all for a very affordable price and the coffee here is better than most "boutique" cafes in the area.

The building is a charming old bluestone cottage and they have a front and rear courtyard allowing you to catch the sun when it is out. In winter you can cosy up inside at a large share table and booth or tuck away in the back near the fire.
They have a small play area and a park next door so children are always welcome. When I take my niece she is always entertained by the staff constantly trying to busy her with colouring books, toys and hide and seek while I enjoy my meal. They really are a great bunch of people.

I can't go past a well priced B.L.A.T. or the Spaniard. Very affordable, reliable and always hits the spot!

Try this place, but prepare for a wait if it is peak period, it is well worth it.

The produced used in food here is great, so fresh and tasty. A classic but hard to get right is the eggs benedict/florentine. There is skill in poaching eggs, and they've got it. Also great coffee and good vibe to catch up with friends. The owner/manager is really friendly worth a try!!!

Approximate cost: $15.00

Lovely kid-friendly cafe with good coffee, great selection of cakes and lunches and very friendly staff. Small area at the back, but if you have kids, even better takeaway into the playground next door so you can enjoy coffee while they burn off energy
