This is the closest caravan park to the Jenolan Caves complex. There used to be one but it closed down. There is also some camping available in the State Forest but they took away facilities so it's BYO "everything".

The town of Oberon is a lovely one anyway and lots to see and do around there. The drive to Jenolan doesn't take long.

It can get really cold here even in summer, take lots of bedding. It's a pleasant park, lots of trees and grass area for camping. There aren't too many sites - around 16 I think that are unpowered and they are in a "bushy" section of the park so you feel like you are in another world. Powered sites too. There's the usual kitchen, laundry and playground, swimming pool, camp fire, and tennis courts and recreation area right next door.

A lovely place from which to explore the area and at twilight the animals get active and you can glimpse them.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Cabins also available.

Approximate cost: $28 a night camping.
