I purchased a piece corn beef for the family dinner. It was so salty that my children, who normally love corn beef, could not swallow it and went to bed without dinner. I phoned them the next day with the receipt and the left over piece for them to test it if necessary. The manager answered the phone and said that I could take it back with receipt if ‘I wanted to'. More for the peace of mind as a consumer, I took time out from my work, drove all the way back with the left piece of meat. I got to the manager I spoke to, he took the meat and receipt and not second word for it. I ask with surprise ‘are you going to give me the refund or take contact details to do something about it?'. He said ‘I cannot give you the refund for sure because this is only a quarter of the meat that you purchased (the rest is in the bin). I can take you details if you want me to.' He took my phone number on a piece of scrap paper. I have heard nothing (I expected so!) from them for 2 weeks. It is a butcher I will never visit again!!

Nice butcher... quality meat and nicely priced too, quick service, pretty fresh stuff. never had a issue from here
