This restaurant offers a fantastic fine dining experience with an extensive list of food and wine. It has a very relaxed atmosphere, which makes your experience even more enjoyable. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and meals were sent out quickly. I ordered the fettuccini, which tasted great. Also it is very easy to park and is a great place to bring the whole family.

We ventured in to Josephine's for coffee and cake on a cold winter's morning to view the artwork on Napolean. It was a very chilly day and the staff were obviously feeling cold. The morning hot chocolate was delicious and we enjoyed the sun ray's on the window pane of this cafe.

Josephine's has a special appeal that will forever remain something precious for us. It is situated upon the hill at The Briars property, in Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula. The property is utilised for a number of ceremonies and celebrations such as Weddings and formal events, but also incorporates facilities for a leisure camp. Josephine's Restaurant however is set apart from the workings of the camp, and feels peaceful, relaxed and almost farm-like. We love the dining area in the back, which proudly displays the work of local artists, and allows views of the property. It is lovely to watch local wildlife frolicking around the property as you dine. The service is professional and the inspired, gourmet meals are beautifully presented. It is not inexpensive, so unfortunately this is an outing best left for very rare occasions. But one we absolutely treasure.

The food was magnificent and the setting was so peaceful and countrified. It was a special occasion for us, our wedding anniversary. This restaurant fit the bill for this special occasion. We shared an entree, which was delicious and then our main meals were exceptional. We shared a dessert because we could not resist it.
