JT's Ladies & Mens Hairstylist

First two photos of hair done by Annette du Toit at JT’s Belmont. Paid $240. Cried in the chair as it looked like a botched home job. I was told that my hair is just not meant to be that blonde. Was advised (in a very condescending tone) that it could not be lifted any more than what it has and that I will loose my hair if she did another application. Offered to do a tone to go darker (which I did not want) so I left. Took me a few days to think about it and decided that it was not acceptable and she had to fix it. Called and made an appointment. Morning of the appointment she phoned to advise that she is not prepared to bleach and that the only option I have is to go dark. I was very worried about going back and thought it best to get a second opinion. Went to Reno’s in Booragoon and got it fixed (last photo) with half a head of foils and as blonde as my heart desires. Requested a refund from JT’s but they refused!

Friendly helpful staff, knowledgeable good advice

Iv been going to JT's belmont for years now and would never go anywhere else as the girls there are friendly and helpful, the experience is great and the massage chairs and service is spot on..
they always get my colour and cut perfect.. and when i want a change and explain how i want it done they get that perfect also, couldnt recommend a better salon then them!
my boyfriend gets his hair done there to and the girls do a great job for mens also
would reccomend to cheak them out!

I have been coming to JT's belmont for years and i always walk out with fabulous hair. The girls are lovely most of the time but some need a bit more professionalism as it is getting rather expensive to have a girl do your hair with a poor attitude. None the less the head massages are great and i am always happy when i leave

Have been here once, it's nice and the girls are friendly and helpful. I got a decent haircut which was good and the colour was fine too. I dont go there often though as it's not my favourite one.

The woman who cut my hair ,looked as if she was the Manager, a robust type with blond hair and a poor attitude, I asked for my hair to be cut a certain way and she took absolutely no notice , once she had the scissors into my hair it was too late, she was cocky with little regard and very poor personal service abilities.

I use JT's in Belmont and in Midland. It has a great atmosphere and the girls do a good job and a really friendly, and they dont talk too much - I hate it when hairdressers just talk at you the whole time they are doing your hair,and it doesnt cost too much to get a decent hair cut.

My boyfriend uses them all the time and they do an ok job, as they are my nearest hairdresser thought Id give them a try for when I needed my hair done for a special occasion, not cut just well.. dressed. They curled it with ghd straightners which turned out ok. Id use them again but only because they are nearby.
