Went to see Dr Quay for an existing condition causing great pain as I couldn't get into my regular GP and wanted pain relief plus an insurance certificate. He was unsympathetic, snarled at me why didn't I go back to my regular GP, then had a tantrum about why he couldn't fill out insurance form (which a previous colleague at his practice had done recently and the copy was provided to him) as he would get into trouble. He prescribed me a medication which I reacted to, after telling him when it gets this bad (which is less than once a year) I get an injection of painkiller plus stemetil. In a week I was in casualty suffering from effects of the prescribed medication. He was rude, unkind and incredibly cruel for a doctor. I have no history with this man, so I don't understand why he behaved so badly.
