The sanctuary is only open for tours three nights a week at sunset. There is no other way to visit.

The tour lasts for about 2 hours and is an excellent outback adventure.

You get to meet two lovely aboriginal women who are artists. Thereis an opportunity for a conversation to find out a bit more about the aboriginal culture - which is vastly different from what you will see in Alice.

Then you get a tour of the 50 acre sanctuary. There is a separate enclosure for the males with an alpha male who is very lively.

Then Brolga will walk and talk with you around the main complex where you get to meet the female red kangaroos and see where they live.

There are about 20 females and 8 males at the sanctuary.

Approximate cost: $90
