The lakeside rooms are lovely, they have been renovated over the last few years by the looks of it so nice and modern. Only bad thing is that the walls are paper thin so I could hear the guy next door snoring all night, so glad the bed was on wheels so we could wheel it to the other side of the room. Lovely walk to the falls, great for relaxing. We also went to visit a few wineries. Meals at the restaurant were good but choice is limited, ok when only staying 2 nights. We did go in to town but choices are limited there too - country living for you! Overall it's a lovely and tranquil setting, best suited to a family or a relaxing weekend away, probably wouldn't recommend to someone looking for adventerous/active holiday as it's quite out of town etc

When i rang to booked they said they were busy and can I ring back, so to me that wasn't the greatest start. We we arrived the reception staff did not acknowledge me at all, until he was ready to serve me. We hired a 3 bedroom self catering chalet which had not oven, just a few pots and a cook top, oh and an electric fry pan which had seend better days. The kitchen had the minmum required to cater for 7 people. That being said if the room is to accommodate 7 people as adertised, where were they to sit as there was only a 2 1/2 seater sofa. Dinning room table and chairs sat 6 people which was fine. Bed were nice, warm and comfortable. Overall the experience was good, but a a little disappointing, with the out dated fixtures and finishings. No radio or CD player. Not the best location if you wish to be close to Pemberton.

Good location, excellent scenery, activities for all the family, good size within the cabin but the main thing that wreaked the holiday was the strong smell of smoke in the whole cabin and when you can't breathe especially when you have medical issues with smoke inhalation it made me feel sick for most of the holiday

A wonderful place whether it be for a honeymoon, romantic getaway or a family holiday.

Stay in the hotel section which over looks the lake. Maybe fish from the balcony. The restaurant has a wide delicious range to choose from. We stayed in a hotel room here on our honeymoon.

Nine years later we returned as a family and stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin amongst the trees. We were able to cater for ourselves in the fully functional kitchen, but we visited the restaurant twice.

There's so much to do here. Wine tasting and wineries are a must as the region as a large amount of wineries to visit. The resort has passes you can purchase for activities or you can pay as you use. I recommend the passes as they are good value. There's canoeing, fishing, swimming of course and mini golf.

Outside the resort there's alot to do besides the wineries. The trout farm nearby was great, everyone is able to catch the trout and when your done they'll prepare and cook it for you and serve with salad and chips. For the fussy like my two, they have chicken nuggets.

Through the resort we booked a cruise up the Donnelly River. I think we travelled about 20km on the river until we reached the beach. While we played on the beach or captain made coffee and muffins.

Pemberton is not far away. Alot of tours can be done here too. The best for us was the ride on the steam train. Only a couple of hours, but the kids loved it.

There is so much to do in the lovely part of WA. This is an area and a resort that everyone should visit.

The very best location and scenery. The restaurant food has room to improve. So much to do at the resort, you will never have to use your car to go anywhere. Very relaxing environment.

BREATHTAKING - AMAZING- SERENE
Wow, what a magical getaway. truly worth the cost as you look out over you balcony to a mist filled lake. Great holiday destination for big families as you can hire a cottage (sleeps 8) and there are activities such as night walks, mini golf, fishing, canoeing, tennis, a pub for the dads to escape and so much more.
I will be taking the children down each and every year. Amazing getaway. Hidden amongst the karri trees.

Approximate cost: $300

I've always wanted to stay at Karri Valley. The accommodation was clean and as expected. We loved the view and the idea that we could fish from the balcony of our room. So much to do at the resort, but so little time....must go back soon. Unfortunately we did not think the food was that nice....pity because that let them down.

I stayed here for a work conference. It was so beautiful and tranquil. I only stayed for one night but wished I could have stayed longer. I will definitely look at staying there with my partner in the future. It was GREAT!

We had wanted to go to Karri Valley Resort for a while after seeing advertisements for it in many places, it looked absolutly beautiful, we were able to get away for a few days without the kids ( thanks to nanna!) a few months back and we booked in for 3 nights here using one of their specials they had running which included accommodation for 2 nights, breakfast for both of us on both mornings and a dinner for both of us in their restaurant, we booked the extra night using an internet special at a low rate.
We were so impressed with the resort it was every bit as beautiful as it looked in the adverts and it is nestled right among the Karri Forest just outside of Pemberton which makes it so tranquil. We had a Lakeside room which meant we had a private balcony right on the lakes edge. This would not only be a great place for couples to escape to but also good for kids as they offer a wide range of activities for a low price of $10 for a day pass which means you can go sailing, conaeong, fishing on their gorgeous lake plus other things such as archery and mini golf.We were considering using this resort for our wedding nex year, but we decided against it only becasue it was a bit too far to ask people to travel to from where we live.
