She has done my makeup several times now including on my wedding day and I couldnt have been happier. I had the honour of being a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding and we all had our make-up down by Katie Dawson from Perle Jewellery and makeup. The experience was one that I will treasure. Katie began by asking what it was that I wanted, whilst discussing what the other girls were having and showing me pictures of the makeup trial. This was great as I felt I had a say in what was being put on my face. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed and made the whole experience fun. I knew that at any point if I was unhappy with something or wanted to ask about something, that Katie would be good natured and determined to make me feel comfortable. The final product was exactly what I wanted. When I looked in the mirror I felt like me and at my best. She enhanced my own features and took the the colouring of the dress, the other girls and myself into the equation to ensure that nothing looked out of place. Katie also designed the earrings that the entire bridal party wore. They were tasteful and elegant and did not feel too heavy in our ears. I would highly recommend the Perle jewellery makeup service. Oh my goodness if you are looking for a makeup artist go no further! I booked Katie from Perle Jewellery & Makeup for our wedding makeup and she was the best. Even with a huge pimple on my chin managed to make me look amazing! Katie was professional, polite and listened to exactly what we wanted. She was also completely flexible, arriving at the hairdressers at 9am then following us home to finish and do final touch ups. Nothing is too much trouble either, she went above and beyond. She offered to fix my bridesmaids hair and secure hair pins amongst other things. Then I found out later from my sister she helped my flower girl with her hair too. She was so helpful on the day and helped things run smoothly. I cant recommend her highly enough. Once you book her you will see what an amazing artist she is... and the sweetest girl to boot!
