Worst experience. Stay Away!!! Poor management. Value your car, go somewhere else. I own a 1997 BMW Z3. I needed to have the bonnet and boot resprayed. The quote from Kedron Smash Repairs was $1000.00. I dropped the car off on Monday and picked up on Thursday before closing. When I returned home I could not lock the doors, the rear lock was not working. I checked my fuses and there were several fuses blown, none of which were associated with the locks. I checked the lights and had a blown front left running light and a rear left running light out. The boot light did not work either. While checking the lights I noticed the brake light bar was cracked and glued back together along with several lights not working on the bar. I called them at Kedron the next day. They said they were very busy and maybe Monday would be better. I waited till Monday and was told they would order a new lens for the brake light bar and look at the wiring when the lens came in. I called BMW and asked them what would cause the electrical problems I was having. They told me there are two sets of wires that operate the boot lock. I opened the inspection plug to see and both sets of wires were NOT attached. After attaching these wires my boot light worked and the locks worked again. I replaced several fuses and several light bulbs and had every thing working again. I called them again and explained what had happened and again they assured me they would look at the wiring when they replaced the brake lens. After one week they said the part had arrived. I drove to Kedron Smash Repairs at 2:00PM and this particular staff took the car around back. They had a Mobile Auto Electrician look at the wiring. I then met someone who told me that none of these problems were related to what they had to do to the car. I asked them how they got the boot lid off for repairs, which was listed on my quote and they told me they disconnected the wires and pulled them through the wiring eyelet. I explained again to them the problems I was experiencing after having my car there their response was someone previously had cut these wires and now I was going to have to pay them for the electrician that worked on my car. I told them I was there to have the lens replaced they had cracked and glued back together and to look at the cut wiring, none were issues before coming to Kedron Smash Repairs. They asked another staff about the lens, it had just arrived 3:30PM. I had an estimate to have both doors resprayed as well. When I told them I will go somewhere else to have the doors done, their response was they were going to not only charge me for the electrician but was refusing to install the new lens. Bottom line, Stay Clear. If that particular person is the management they needs to spend some classroom time learning how to effectively communicate. If you love your car, look somewhere else. Not even one star.

Best experience!!! A few months back I damaged my car and my insurance had lapsed... not a great situation... esp. because I own a limited edition Honda (Type R) so good used parts are as rare as hens... KS Repairs worked with me tirelessly to track down the bits and pieces required (ranging from body to engine parts), the manager always had time for me to confirm whether this or that part I'd found was suitable or not. Got my car back last week and it looks virtually brand new. We managed to secure all genuine Honda parts (used) and the quality of the repair job was outstanding I was so happy with it and even my husband (who had left this one to me to solve...) conceded he was pretty impressed. Keron Smash Repairs gets 5 stars from me. I found their workshop, office and staff to be genuinely friendly and helpful, and their charges seem very fair and reasonable to me.

Car was T-boned at the start of November, side smashed in, airbags deployed. KSR was my insurance company's preferred repairer. Having been told by several people in the know that airbags are too expensive to repair, I was surprised when they came back to me advising the car would be repaired and can I drop it off the next day. (This after spending approximately 3.5 minutes 'assessing' the damage to my vehicle). I was okay with it. I loved that little Mazda. "10 working Days" they told me it would be done by. "Awesome" I said. On the 8th working day I called to confirm the car would be ready as intially advised. (I was using hire cars at this stage and wanted to plan my usage for the week). "No Problem" they said. "See you next tuesday" i said. Monday, i received a call from the insurer to advise me that "on second thoughts, the airbags are too expensive to fix so the car is now a repairable write off." "Really? So what I said at the beginning about being surprised by the intital assessment was actually correct?" Fancy that. Now, not only do I not have my car back in time for Christmas, I could have had a brand new one by now had KSR had their acts together from the start. Worst Smash repairers ever.

I was recommend this company thru a friend who had work done at Kedron Smash. The company was very professional from their office staff through to their tradespeople who worked on my car. After having a major accident the quality of repairs was exceptional, repairs were done on time and my car has never looked so good. 2 thumbs up!!!

Absolutely cannot advise you strongly enough against using this business! Booked in for three private quotes and one insurance job. When I initially took my car in they said it was actually going to be 5 days not 3 and sent me away. When I took it in again I was told only 3 days! After 3 days they ring me and tell me that the wrong part has been ordered and I will have to come pick up my car & then bring it in again in two weeks time. Upon picking it up only one of the private quotes has been done - and not even properly! The back spoiler had not been fixed correctly, they glued it back on but still missed part of it which I will now have to take in again after four trips into their repair yard. After the first two tries of getting this work done I Took it in again some weeks later, they complete the insurance job but yet again forget the other two private quotes; and further to this they start to deny that part of the work that I had asked for had never been discussed. Saying that they didn't have pictures of it in the initial quoting stage - obviously the estimator was too distracted to do his job properly, as with everyone else working at this business!!! One of the private quotes admittedly looks quite good but the other looks worse than when I took the car in in the first place. The management tried to tell me that it looked great and that they'd advised me it would look that way, which is not. I feel ripped off. Do not use this business.

I couldn't be happier with the service from Kedron Smash Repairs. They repaired the damage on my car quickly and kept me up to date with how it was going and what needed to be done. Having a car accident is always annoying but with how quickly and easily they dealt with my car it was actually not a bother at all! I would definitely recommend them and if I have any other scratches/dents on my car I know where I'll be taking it!

Received my car back from repairs after being rear ended. rear bar was meant to be new but I doubt it because my car has dual exhausts and one of the holes doesn't line up any more and the hole is warped, so this was the BIG complaint...other then that my drivers side door speaker cover was missing and there were a few big scratches on my drivers side tint. (only good thing about them was they matched the paint good. but yeh would never go there again and I would never recommend them to anyone.
