Arranged to get a quote at the workshop on a Saturday at midday. I waited there for some time but no-one showed up. Left messages on the office phone with my contact number. No-one even bothered to call me back to apologise for failing to show and wasting my time.

As a woman I can't help but think that I really don't get the very best quote when I have to take my car to a panel beater... and my recent experience proved me right. I took my car to 3 panel beaters to get a quote. Quote #1 - $1200 (needs the car for 4 days) Quote #2 - $1100 (needs the car 3 days) Quote #3 - $660 (needs the car for 2 days) Of course my friends warned me not to always go with the cheapest quote and to watch the quality. I looked high and low on the net for someone to write a review about one of these businesses and could not find one, so in the end went with price (wouldn't you?). Quote 3 was from Ken himself. I took my car to him and got it back 2 days later sparkling clean (unexpected after Brisbane's first 2 dust storms). He was professional, polite and thorough. I hope that I never need to use a panel beater again but if I did, I'll go straight to Ken. I got myself into such a state running around Brisbane looking for help and worrying about how much I was going to be ripped off.
