The Kenmore Vet has been caring for our animals for years. She has cared for our dog when she was critically ill from tick paralysis, staying by her side all night to monitor her. When our first dog had a tumour, she spoke honestly about her future and was a great support when it was time to say good-bye.
She patiently worked with my mother's dog transforming her from a snappy, terrified dog to a gentle, fun dog.
She has dropped everything to open up her surgery in times of emergency.
If you are after a vet who will mollycoddle you, The Kenmore Vet is not for you. If you are after a vet who will do the absolute best for your animal and who only charges what is necessary and not what she can get away with; then know that your pets will receive the best care by far from The Kenmore Vet.

How this vet made it to the top 25 is beyond me. I've been to many vets over the years and have never come across such a disrespectful manner, it verges on abusive. I left with my ill cat before any examination or treatment. No way would I want my ill cat treated by this toxic person. Way too much negativity.

We have been clients of Starry's since 1994 and she has seen and cared for 3 generations of cats and dogs both for the parents and kids alike. She prioritises your animals health first and gives practical advice. She won't do unnecessary or expensive options unless this is called for. We all trust Starry's advice and care for our animals.

Starry Allen is the best vet in the western suburbs. She saved my dog twice last year when he had tick paralysis and recently, when we had to say goodbye to our old dog, she was wonderfully kind and compassionate. Her rates are very reasonable, she clearly loves animals and she tells it like it is. Highly recommended.

We first discovered this fantastic vet in 2003 when our German Shepherd had a paralysis tick. The clinic hours are fantastic, until 7pm on weeknights and clinic hours on Saturday & Sunday at no extra cost. No appointment is necessary. Very reasonable rates and you can tell that Dr Starry Allen genuinely cares for animals. The fact that she is a one woman operation with no support staff means that the prices are very reasonable. We've since had to euthanise our German Shepherd & our Rottweiler cross are we were given nothing but respect and the time to say our goodbyes. She then cleaned up the animals in preparation for them to be cremated. Now we have two new furry friends, and we're relieved that we have a vet that we can trust. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vet clinic to any pet owner.
