Stayed for 2 nights and was surprised. growing up this place asnd the suburb were certainly upmarket and the facade and foyer make it seem nice. Once you go out the back to your room its downhill from there! We had to climb three sets of stairs outside as there are no lifets and all the rooms are very dated. The bathroom toilet was not working and the water did not seem to even be on. The room was dimly lit . The plus side was that the staff are frienldy and very helpful The place also has a restaurant and although we didnt eat there the food smelled wonderful. its also very central to everything on the North Shore.

I stayed there on Saturday night. The hot water was not really hot at all, the hair dryer was not working. No toothpast and tooth brush. Really disappoint.
