My favourite restaurant in Melbourne! Food is absolutely Amazing, the dumplings are to die for, have been here before and just had dumplings for dinner! The service is fantastic the waiter is always accommodating to the customers needs. Haven't been to a restaurant that is better value for money. We find if we go with a group of people we, on average, pay $15pp. And leave full!! The only negative point is sometimes meals take a while to get out if the restaurant it full but thats understandable as I believe there is only one person cooking. I recommend it to everyone and have never heard of someone that didnt enjoy! :)

Lovely authentic family run Korean restaurant - quality ingredients. And every dish comes with 3 little Korean tastes to have on the side! The man, presumably the owner is so attentive and eager to please! Amazing place - just waiting for Epicure to discover it and it will be pumping!

Approximate cost: $10-$20

I feel this restaurant deserves a rating for it's fantastic home cooked food. It's much nicer than the Korean restaurants in Carnegie. It's quiet and family run, great quality food, delicious menu, cute service and great prices. GO LOCAL and support what is around.

Approximate cost: $11.50 - $16.00

This place has changed it's name from Gasi Busi to Kimchi Country. However, I think that's the only thing that has changed. The food is excellent quality and authentic. My favourite dishes are the Ojing-o bokeum (spicy squid), mandu (gyoza) dumplings. Also great is the Fried tofu with beef top and the bibimbap in the hot stone pot. The side dishes are excellent - my favourite is the mashed sweet potato. Side dishes, rice and corn tea are all free.

My wife and I have eaten there a few times, including once with our toddler who was tolerated and well fed. The food is a very high standard, and more traditionally korean that much of the more anglicised stuff you get in the more popular Korean restaurants in Carnegie or Clayton. It is a nice small place with a relaxed but quiet atmosphere that has consistently left us well satisfied.

Approximate cost: $20
