we have been here a couple of times as a work group. the service was a bit lacking one time (even though there was hardly anyone in the restaurant) but the food made up for it as it was fresh and delicious.

Approximate cost: $25

What a beautiful meal. I went here a little while ago with some friends that live close and always went there. They invited us to go and boy it was a great night. The seafood - fish was so fresh and cooks fantastic. It melted in my mouth - john Dory with salad on the side. The salad was so fresh and crisp with just a hint of dressing. The prawn dish my friend had was huge. i tried one of those and again cooked suburb the waiters were very catering to all of our needs and also very friendly. Price is a bit on the steep side but worth every morsel

Approximate cost: $22

Yum yum yum food
Hot, fresh and spot on,
The services is right up the top with friendly and polite waiters.
They even went out if their way to cater for an allergy.

This has to be my favourite place to get Yum Cha. It's usually pretty busy, which means having to wait for a tale to open up, but it is well worth it. The staff are very helpful, and keen to make you happy. The place really buzzes. Eating here is not just a meal, but an experience, and a pleasant one. I'll keep coming back!

My regular dining companions and I recently enjoyed an evening dining at this restaurant for the first time. The occassion was Chinese New Year so a set menu was on offer for $38.00.

Always up for trying out a new place and the promise of a celebratory Dragon Dance to see in the new year to boot, we arrived and gorged on the most sensational meal of Crab and Corn Soup, an array of dumplings and dim sim followed closely behind by Garlic Prawns, Moreton Bay Bugs, Honey Sesame Beef and Duck in Plum Sauce accompanied perfectly with Special Fried Rice. Not to be outdone the meal was rounded off with Chocolate Mud Cake.

We matched the first courses with Wolf Blass Red Label Chardonnay Pinot Noir Premium Cuvee, the mains with Brown Brothers Crouchen Sauvignon Blanc and the heavenly Mud Cake with the Arrogant Frog Sticky.

For those wanting a quiet place to enjoy a long meal forget it. This place is fast paced and large banquet hall seating, we estimated on the night over 650 people. If you like a no fuss, good value meal for small or large groups then this is the place to be. Volume has not been at the sacrefice of classy, this place has it all, material chair covers and chandeliers.

This is a BYO wine only establishment althouth there is also a full bar. Corkage is $3.00 per person.

We will certainly be back next year for this sensational night out. No one went home hungry thats for sure!!!

Yum Cha is available outside Chinese Year celebrations so we look forward to trying that!!

Approximate cost: $38.00

I'd never been to yum cha in my life before coming to this restaurant. What a great surprise! I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the fun aspect of all the little trolleys coming around laden with interesting dishes.

I had expected more deep fried or steamed food but there was plenty of variety on offer. And I didn't know the Chinese made desserts such as the little custard tarts with the flaky pastry ... delicious!!

My favourite was something that seemed like a fish cake (crumbed and fried) but which contained minced scallops and prawns. Fantastic!!

I found the pricing to be very reasonable. We paid about $22 each and left feeling stuffed.

The staff are funny, always in a rush but always keen to sell you something. The place buzzes with energy and it's definitely an experience to enjoy when you have a little time to sit and linger.

Approximate cost: $22

The food here is alright, not the best quality I've had. The service is very efficient but sometimes so much so that you feel rushed. The prices are quite good for the area and the food is quite authentic. They decor is nice but could use an update or two. Good but considering the quality available the Valley they need to step it up a notch.
