I would consider Kingsland to be one of the best Chinese Restaurants in the Newcastle area, the food is superb and the atmosphere is unique, having original fittings imported from China complete with personal service at a reasonable prices .

good food, service not too bad, just wish they were a little faster and more polite. can't complain as the food was good and the price fantastic! Yum Cha and dumplings fantastic and real!!!!

Kingsland is a chinese restaurant that has been there for years. My parents visit occasionally for yum cha. Its ok, depending upon what you are used to. Compared to sydney yum cha its not that great but is you are having a yum cha craving in newcastle, its better than most. I find it a bit hit and miss. sometimes the dumpling etc are good, sometimes over cooked, gooey and truly awful. There are some macanese mains which are intereseting but you need to know what is what as there is little explaination- the yin yang rice for example would be pretty dire for the chinese cuisine purist. worth a lookl

Being a picky eater, I was very skeptical of trying 'Yum Cha', however Kingsland has made me fall in love with Yumcha!! The amazing variety of dishes, there really is something for everyone, the staff are wonderfull, service is quick and all food was wonderfull! Definanlty glad I stepped out of my comfort zone!!

This is the only place i will get chinese at, the best!

Best honey chicken ever! & garlic prawns are a nice dish too. Good on price, very fair. Waiting time isnt that bad, i just find ringing and picking up in 15mins is best.

Location is good, main street of wallsend. Staff are nice, friendly and professional.

Best yum cha in Newcastle. Not many to choose from however. The manager was great. He spent time with u's to explain the food and at the end gave u's a discount!

By far the very best Chinese in Newcastle. I love their take away but i really love the smorgasbord on a Sunday night. Excellent value and a huge range to choose from. Cant be beat.
