During a recent holiday, we took our family to Kronosaurus Korner and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time there and we all learnt a lot. Our 4 children are between 2 and 10 years old and there was something for everyone. The information to go out to a nearby digging site to fossick for our fossils was great and we were happy to be able to find some fossils.

The museum has an excellent introductory video about the area which you view before stepping out into the various galleries.

As you walk around the displays you have a control so that you can hear explanations about where the fossils came from and other information.

There are some excellent fossils in the collection and plenty of information to go with them.

We spent at least 90 minutes going through the museum. There are three galleries but the third one is through a closed door and I am not sure that everyone realises to go in there. Make sure you get in there because the best display of all is in a glass cabinet in the middle of the gallery.
