Although good value and the ingredients are fresh, it's still very much like a basic stir fry. Maybe I just couldn't get the sauce combinations right, but my meal was just average. Watching the chef however, cook on the large hotplate was worth it though.

Have been here for a work dinner, is great, such a cool way to have food cooked just as you like it, very social too, as we had lots of discussions of what we should put in our next bowl to be cooked, its also great watching your food be cooked in front of you – very much recommend.

Yum. Isn't it great when it's not just a meal but an experience?

A great place to go for dinner. You select the food you want yourself, and then take it to the chefs who cook it in front of you. There are so many different combinations of food that you can come up with

I went here for a business lunch and it was entertaining as well as a great meal. You choose whatever meat you like, add veg of your choice then let the cook sizzle it in unique style right there. The BBQ gives a unique flavor and made for a fun experience.

Approximate cost: $20

For a unique dining experience visit the Kubrai Khan Mangolian BBQ at Parkside only 3 minutes from the city. Choose your feast from a wide variety of fresh meat and vegetables, then watch the chef wield his giant chopsticks when he cooks it for you on a huge BBQ. Awesome!

We really enjoyed our night here. You can pay a set price for a banquet, and you get to go up and choose your own raw meat, prepared veg and sauces and the chef cooks it for you on this massive hot plate. Kids thought it was hilarious! You can have as much or as little meat as you want, really good value for those people on low carb who just like to have lots of meat. Highly recommend it-heaps of fun

Out of the 2 Mongolian restuarants in Adelaide, this one seems to have the edge although food is much the same between both. Parking can be an issue, sidestreets only. Would recommend though

Approximate cost: $18.00

Kublai Khan is a fantastic dining experience. You can get the smorgasbord for $22 per adult which includes all you can eat Mongolian BBQ -which the chefs cook while you watch, rice, noodles, prawn chips and bread. Or if you are indulgent like we were, pay an extra $6 each and get the banquet, which includes a entree and dessert - chocolate fondue!
It's a different dining experience where you get up and choose the meat, veggies and sauce, add them to your bowl and give to the chef to cook whilst you wait. We love it so have been many times.

Approximate cost: $22-28

Nice restaurant. You can see the chefs cook your food on the spot- Mongolian tradition. The value is average, but we had a coupon when we went there and they validated the coupon and let us use it again. Not bad!
