Kuranda Candy Kitchen

My favourite shop lol,they make traditional hard rock candy,with flavours such as chilli and lime(surprisingly good!)to traditional like pineapple etc.they also make Dutch licorice(not my thing but) and can custom make candy,for your wedding etc.a great idea.prices were what you"d expect,and the candy itself was wonderful.we bought a bag of mixed and also a bag of mango.also they do demonstrations which you literally have to see,if you've never seen candy made,you have to its fantastic!

Excellent traditional lolly shop. They do the demonstrations of the hard rock lollies which is always interesting. The day we were there they made chiili and lime which was a bit weird, but strangely good. The kids bought some standard lollies in little jars. Would recommend dropping in if you are lucky enough to find yourself in Kuranda.

It was amazing!! The "candyologists" did so many demonstrations on how they make their special lollies. They explained what they did and had an excellent candy range available to buy for a really good price. Go back there every time I visit Cairns!
