This place is amazing for the beach views .... we dined there for a casual dinner at sunset and were not disappointed.

The views were amazing from our casual tables located under cover. The cafe overlooks extensive beach lawns where customers can buy their meal and eat it at the tables or sit on the lawn.

The barramundi was absolutely delicious and local, priced at $16 each was very pricey admittedly but so fresh tasting and lightly battered and fried.

serves of chips were $3 or $6 and were crispy and delicious. the smaller portion was adequate for 2 adults 1 child.

beers and cold drinks are available for purchase too.

yes its a pricey fish n chip shop but you are definitely paying for the beach views and fresh quality local NT fish, so it was worth it.

I really enjoyed out evenings at La Beach while we were living in Darwin. It's a little pricey, but the food is delicious and the staff a polite and friendly. It has a beautiful view of the beach and if you time it well you can watch the sun set as you eat dinner. Gorgeous! Definitely recommend it!
