Love love love! Ladies look no further! La Bimba is the ultimate place for hair. Lovely, knowledgable, and FRIENDLY staff. I have never felt so comfortable walking into a salon, my new (and now forever) stylist, Sara, greeted me at the door, walked me in, and set me up with tea before my head/neck/shoulder massage. And for once the stylist listened to me and gave me great suggestions on style and cut! She even took the extra time to walk me through some easy everyday styling tips for my hair! Gold stars all round here!!!

I started going to La Bimbi in Belconnen in early 2011 and haven't looked back! The girls are just gorgeous, so helpful and friendly! They are great at advising on what is not only best for your hair but what will look good on you. Mel manages a beautiful colour every time, no matter what shade I'm after and Sammy does the best cuts in Canberra. They also use products that aren't tested on animals which is definitely a bonus :) Keep up the good work girls!

has never been so happy with my hair since i went to Sammy at labimbi hair.....iv never walked out of a salon 100% happy with my style but as soon as i sat down and talked about what i wanted to do i was instantly excited and i knew she knew what i wanted and how to achieve it....I'm pretty open to any kind of style and when iv said that to other hairdressers they never give me anything exciting but Sammy gave me a total new look and also showed me how to style it which no other hairdresser has ever done before....she really took her time to cut my hair and and show me what to do at home.....iv finally found my hairdresser!!!!! seriously girls go and see her!!!!

Have curly hair? Can never seem to find a hair dresser that understands curly hair? Then Nicole at la bimbi is the hair dresser you have forever been searching for!..and this I promise! She greeted me with a massive smile and an energetic personality- that was tick number one for me! She then sat with me and took the time to discuss what I wanted- tick number two. She proceeded to explain how she would cut my hair,as she knew the difference between how you approach curly hair as opposed to that of straight- tick number three! In the end I walked out of the salon so pleased with my new cut- and may I tell you folks..this was not just a trim,I walked into this salon with long hair and walked out with short- a total transformation,and I love it! So at this point I guess I can reveal that Nicole is the number 1 hair dresser for all of us blessed with gorgeous curls! Thanks again Nicole,I look forward to my next cut with you!

I went to La Bimbi a few times and will never return. Over priced, ignored by staff for ages and overall bad service. I always asked for a quote before any work was done and it always was more expensive after "extra's" were charged. I would be left with colour on for far too long and totally over charged for cutting compared to many other salons in Canberra. I do not recommend at all.

Definitely the best hair salon I've been to in Canberra. La Bimbi uses only Aveda products and since I've been using these my hair has been much healthier and easier to manage. The staff are very professional and offer great service. The decor is modern, they have very relaxing massage chairs, a great selection of magazines and complimentary wine, tea and coffee.
