All I wanted was a cheap bed while I waited for my flight but I got so much more! After being greeted by super friendly staff and walked to my room, I was stoked to find a clean, classic room with ensuite. The bed was so comfortable I don't think I've ever slept so well! Walking distance to the local Surf Club for dinner, cafe for breakfast, beach for a swim and Gold Coast airport to get myself home. Staff even offered to drive me to the airport.

It's hard to miss this place when you drive by, because the quaint vintage style just calls out, and certainly struck a cord with us. The office has DVDs available for rental, is decorated in real vintage style, and staffed by one of the friendliest ladies we've met. Exceptionally helpful and happy to show us a room beforehand. The rooms are very tasteful and have everything you need, some are even connecting rooms. The beach is so close, as is the airport, so the price for convenience is great. The downside is that there is some noise from upstairs movements if you are staying on the ground floor, and you need to be careful with parking as there is limited on site and on the road may fill up. We had a really enjoyable stay and would recommend it.
