This is a good place to bring kids as the food comes quickly and the kids love it. Pizzas are pretty good (although I think they have gone downhill a bit in recent years). The kids love the icecream too. Very casual but the service we've got has always been very friendly and the prices are good.

I have recently visited La Porchetta in Brighton with family and friends as i live interstate in NSW, they took me to their favorite restaurant which i had never heard of. Let me just say it was a fantastic experience with friendly staff, great food and fantastic price to pay. Keep up the FANTSTIC work guys, i will be back every time i come back to Melbourne.

Fairly consistent quality food at good prices. This is a casual dining place so many families gather here and it can get quite noisy on weekends. Nothing outstanding but good pizza, pasta and felati to be found.

We were desperate for some take away pizza that ould be delivered but didn't want the chain stores. They delivered the soggiest , tasteless italian food ever. I was so dissapointed. i thought i'd found a good local place that was cheap too. But the food matched the price.

Unfortunantly they do not deliver pizza, so i think you have the wrong restaurant.

I remember as young kid going to the original La Porchetta restaurant in Carlton. It was the only restaurant my parents would take us to, even though it used to take about an hour to drive up from our home down South of Melbourne. But boy did we love tucking into the pizzas, surrounded by all the photos pinned to the wall of famous people that had visited the restaurant. And at the end of the meal on lucky person would get to spin the wheel to maybe win a bottle of Spumante.

Whilst the Brighton La Porchetta restaurant doesn't have quite that same vibe as the original store, its great to see that the pizzas and prices haven't changed too much. The Brighton La Porchetta is still a great place to go with groups or for casual meal. My favourite pizza is the La Porchetta Original - I really love the sausage meat that they put on it.

Approximate cost: $10-14 per pizza

When you want consistent good value italian food

When you want consistent good value italian food

The Brighton one is pretty much a standard La Porchetta with the usual average service and quality of food. But you can't beat them on price, especially for the pizzas. When you are sick of the plastic pizza from the big pizza chains try out La Porchetta.

Approximate cost: $10
