I was suprised to find such an upscale looking restaurant here, very stylish decor, modern and formal. The staff were attentive and the menu was extensive enough for my likings. Osso Bucco was tender and flavorsome.
A bit high in price though I suppose its a now and then visit, not somehwere I would go regularly.

La Tratt is an upscale restaurant located inside the Fairfield RSL. I'm going to be honest - I do not like fine or upscale dining. My wife & I came here to celebrate an anniversary but quickly realized that it is not our type of place. But I'm not going to mark them down for that.

The waiter was very formal but nice, He brought out some olives & bread before the meal and they were tasty. We both had the risotto which was a small portion & expensive. But again, its not to our taste and I assume all fine dining is like that.

I have no complaints - the meal was perfectly fine. But we did stop for a burger afterwards because the portion was pretty small. And we felt too awkward to enjoy ourselves. But if you like that kind of thing, I'm sure you'll like this place.

Located inside Fairfield Rsl you will find the stylish La Tratt Restaurant. It's very modern and a must try for fine dining! We came for a friends birthday and were very impressed with how attentive the staff were and how delicious the food was. Before we began to order the waiter brought out some fresh crusty bread served with olive oil and vinegar and a side dish of olives! if you know me, i love bread! We both ordered the seafood marina dish which came with quite a few pieces of seafood and the sauce wasn't too overpowering which was NICE! I did notice some diners order the pork belly and rib eye, which looked very appealing. Will definitely return to sample them on the menu. Overall a really nice relaxed atmosphere with great food, downside is it can be quite exxy! But they do have some set menu's available!

This is located inside Fairfield RSL club but the decor of the club and the restaurant feels like a 5 star hotel. :) They have done a huge refurbishment, hence, the 10/10 rating. Love the lounge area in La Tratt, v funky, great for after dinner coffee.

Service staff are wonderful, not like a usual RSL, they make you feel very special and happy to serve. Perfect for a birthday or anniversary (I went for a birthday). Food is really top nosh and "different" in a good way. Bit pricey, but when you go, you'll realise it's worth it.

Easy parking and they have a courtesy cart to take you if you can't walk, which is driven by a man in a top hat! I was surprised, as I'm not a "club" person. Check out the rest of the Club when you go, love all the little Buddas and water features around the place.

This restaurant has an amazing wine list!

I found this restaurant's food oily and not very tasty-definitely not worth the money they are charging. The atmosphere also felt a bit posh (which considering it is located in an RSL club) seemed a bit odd and made for uncomfortable dining.

Approximate cost: $30+
