Laika Wine Bar only opened in late 2008, but word on the street is certainly traveling, and rightly so!!
Don't imagine for one moment that the owners of Laika aren't serious about all things decadent.
Matching the surrounds is a wine list that ranges from well selected local wines to a bottle of 95 Clos Du Mesnil, one of only two in the world.
Also one of a kind is the impressive cocktail list. Sourcing almost impossible to find liquors, spirits and aperitifs from around the world, the owners have to make sure the list stands out! Corporate Events, Birthdays, Private rooms, Celebrations, New Years Eve and Christmas Party' s

excellent atmosphere, with multiple rooms and the decor is definitely well suited to this place.
If you're after a very fine selection of liquors and cocktails, made with love and care, Laika stands above most of the local competition around st kilda, as one of the top cocktail joints around.
There is also nice accompanying music, and an interesting crowd mingling around, that help make this place a quality, but underrated gem in the heart of st kilda.

A tapas as well as a nice cocktail bar. It is amazingly trendy inside, the seats and decor are fantastic and original. The food is really delicious an I thoroughly enjoyed myself here.
