I have stayed here a few times now, mainly whilst working in the area. Although it is clean and tidy, it is certainly in need of some renovations. Staff are friendly and rates are reasonable. Very helpful with suggestions of the best restaurants in town. Will probably try somewhere else next time.

I have tried a few motels while visiting Mount Gambier on many business and family trips. But I have to say the Lakes resort is great value for money, spacious clean rooms, comfortable bed and amazing views over the city. There is an indoor heated pool and gym as well as an outdoor bbq. The restaurant offers some spectacular views over the city, evenings are best. Staff are very polite, friendly and helpful.
