I went here shopping for decorations for my son's first birthday cake. The lady working was incredibly helpful and made sure I walked away with items that would do what I wanted them to and that I was confident in using them. The range of small decorations such as different coloured sprinkles etc is enormous and there is also a vast selection of ready made fondants, books, cake making tools and more. I'd love to do one of their cake decorating courses sometime as I've only heard great things.

I would like to thank all the staff who helped my daughter have the cake she wanted. From the guy who first took my phone call to the lovely lady who took the time to call me and help me to get my picture through and the beautiful lady who served me in the shop! You are all wonderful and I cannot thank you enough!!

I hope you are able to see this photo of the finished 6 layer multi coloured cake! Briannah and her friends loved Peppa pig and if it wasn't for you wonderful staff she wouldn't have had the perfect cake!

I shop at Latorta at weekly basis. Just LOVE the shop. No matter what time or day ,the staff is always friendly and assisting. They don't try and sell you things you would only use once, and they actually really try and help you giving you tips and tricks. My Favorite shop in Canberra for sure !!

These guys are great! I was so excited to find a specialty cake store in Canberra. They have a huge range including cake tins (and special types of tins such as teddy bears, footballs etc), fondant, piping bags, huge range of cupcake papers and some party decorations, cooking demonstrations, and the more hard to find things such as egg white powder and edible metallic powders. Highly recommended! The reason for four stars and not five is that it would be even better if they had even more range (e.g. really precise digital scales that measure very small quantities), but as it is it is still very good and far better than anything else I've found in Canberra.

Finally, a specialised cake decorating supply shop in Canberra. Not only do they sell cake pans, fondant, food colouring paste (so hard to find specific colours elsewhere) and so many other cake related items, but they run weekly demonstrations on various aspects of cake decorating to teach you how to put it into practice.
