Absolutely Fantastic. I can still taste the beautiful whitebait almost melting in my mouth. The flavours are divine and every dish is fantastic - we had arguments over which was the best dish of the night - they were all fantastic.

The simplicity yet subtle elegance in the dishes prepared at Lau's family Kitchen makes me feel as if I am taking part in a tradition meal in a Chinese home. The flavor and generosity in the serves will keep me coming back.

this place is not too be missed if you are into the very best that chinese food has to offer. the dishes are deceptively simple, the flavours staying with you as a delightful memory that always sees me going back for more.

I have been here 2 times. It was beautiful food and really good service. It was raining when we left and they walked me out to our car with an umbrella. we ordered tea and they took away the pot before we were finished and refilled it without asking, but then charged us for two pots. Wasn't happy about that.

Had to wait for a seat even though they had 4 tables open (2 were available during the time we ate and paid the bill). The food was completely disappointing, fried food was soggy and the spicy food was bland. I was expecting more flavour and quality for the prices.

Approximate cost: $25

Lau's is a kind of hidden secret spot for amazing Cantonese dining, I have dined there a few times and always found the experience to be fantastic but quite often they are booked out so my girlfriend and i get it take-away which is unbeatable. we love the Ginger chicken, the salt and pepper squid and the Mushroom fried rice. we tell everyone to go there.

We visited Lau's Family Kitchen after friends recommended it. We love Chinese cuisine, the food is quite good and there seems some attachment to the flower drum I think, but cheaper and more casual.
I recommend that it is worth to try

Approximate cost: $25
