In terms of professional competency, perhaps the staff at Lawson Hair Couture could be given high scores by customers. But in terms of customer service, I am not so sure. The three times I went there for a haircut I had to wait an average of 20 minutes, and recently I simply did not receive any service at all. The hairdresser who was supposed to cut my hair left me waiting in the chair with the apron around my neck for 25 minutes while, inexplicably, she answered the phones, checked her computer, tidied the benches and wiped the chairs. There was neither an apology nor an explanation. In the end, I got fed up and stormed out. But they did not chase after me. They obviously disregard the fact that good manners are a core element of reputational capital. Needless to say, I will not go back there and will certainly discourage people from giving them business.
