Delicious food and great service. A bit on the pricey side so it's a treat to go here, but it's worth the money. They do run out of meats from the smoker, so get in quick or make sure they tell you so you're not disappointed. The fish tacos are great.

A really great place for casual gatherings. The menu is a sure pleaser with lots of barbecue and what I would call gourmet barbecue tapas as well as creative and refreshing salads, in addition to a bar serving great drinks. The rooftop is just stunning, again amplifying that relaxed yet rustically sophisticated vibe.

We are regular customers- great food, great atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are looking for a feast! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The buttermilk chicken and onion rings are to die for.

The best buttermilk fried chick I've had since moving back from Texas last year. It is also fast becoming one of Melbourne's go to places so get in quick and try all of the meat. In fact, this speak easy may have everything you could ever want - fried chicken, wagyu burgers, oysters, absinthe and a wonderful ambience. It might expand your waistline and credit card bill, but it's definitely all worth it.

Just went to Le Bon Ton for the first time last night with friends and the atmosphere was amazing!!! The chairs, tables, candlelight, decor - everything; a great place to just sit and catchup with friends! Our table ordered a few things off the bar menu: fried chicken, chicken wings, fries, and I got the vegetable sandwich (which was delicious). Although I know the atmosphere was super amazing, and it's a "gastro-pub", given the dishes were plays on po'boy American southern food, some of the prices were a bit steep. $16 for about 6 battered & fried chicken strips is a little silly, no matter how nicely you dress it up or where it's served - it's fried chicken strips in a basket. But don't let that deter you, the food is *really* good (if you like that style of food) and the atmosphere is second to none!

Approximate cost: $15

I absolutely love Le Bon Ton, and would definitely recommend others to try it out. There is something very unique about it, that I think would endear it to a wide range of people.
To begin with, it is classic New Orleans food adapted for the discerning cosmopolitan patron. Offering the cosy southern charm in the food drinks and surrounds.
Think of a steakhouse restaurant, but x10 on the interesting factor, menu variety and pare back the size of the bill, and there you have Le Bon Ton.
