Can be hit and miss, depending on who you get. Mostly I have had great experiences getting eyebrow wax and tint, eyelash tint or Brazilian waxes here, almost never have to wait unless it's lunch time.

I got my first underarm wax here. I was so scared but the staff made me feel relaxed. It actually did not hurt as much as I thought. It was very affordable also.

I walked in on Christmas Eve for an eyebrow and lip wax ($15), expecting Leah's Wax Works to be completely booked out. Instead, my name was taken down on a post-it note and I was asked to take a seat in the waiting area.

When my name was called, I was directed into one of the rooms by my waxist (whose name I didn't get), and told to lie down. The waxist left for several minutes, which felt like forever, before returning to do the waxing.

My lip was really well done. While my eyebrows cleaned up nicely, I felt like no effort was made to further define the shape. I would return to Leah's Wax Works if I needed waxing done at the last minute (especially for the price), but I'm still looking for a regular waxist.

Have my laser for Brazilian and underarm.so freakin worth it! Only 70 for both. Very happy with their efficiency and consistency. Appointments are not always necessary making it convenient. Eyebrow waxing is also great and very reasonably priced at $10. Can't think of a better place than this.

Approximate cost: $70

Despite everything else in the CBD being overly priced, Leah's Wax Works is not. I had a half leg wax done and was in and out in a jiffy- and it only cost me $16! I was very happy with the service as I had previously been burnt at the previous place I had my legs done- but these guys had the wax at a tolerable temperature

Is that it!!! That's how much it costs to buy a pack of wax strips and do a terrible job at it - I'm definitely considering them now. Thanks!

For the price and convenience, Leah's is great. You can walk in and out in your lunch break without an appointment, which is a rarity in the CBD. However sometimes they seem a bit short-staffed so you may be left lying in the room for awhile until someone sees you. But when they do, they are quick and efficient and do a good job.

Just popped in without booking, was seen straight away and was in and out for of the fastest and surprisingly the least painful wax ever. I Will definitely return, their prices are great and the salon still has a nice quality atmosphere.

Approximate cost: $10
